Is pizza that has been sitting out for 24 hours still good?

Not refrigerated.
Sitting on my dresser in my dorm room.
I really want to eat it.

Smell it.

Are you otherwise healthy?

Is your room clean? Hot? Cold?

If it has meat on it I would throw it out.

Plain cheese. Room is fairly standard room temperature.
I would say I am healthy. I swim 3 times a week, life 3 times a week. Have not been sick in a while.
Smells fine, more like cardboard than anything.

In other student food news - Last friday night (thats 8 days ago) I ate some chicken pasta bake that had been left out since thursday night.

I thought if i microwaved it for a couple of minutes it'd be ok. How wrong i was. I didnt get off the can for 4 days, and then had to go every hour for another 3 days... :'(

The only thing I learned in College is that pizza is good for 24 hours outside of the fridge.

This is trues for cheese, peperoni, and mushroom pizzas.

I actually like pizza better when It's been out in the open for a while. This only goes for the good ol' homemade pizza.

"Chicken Pasta Bake" will do that even when it's fresh!

15 second rule

Do you guys use the 15 second rule?

When you drop food on the floor, if you pick it up within 15 seconds, then there is nothing possibly wrong with it and you can eat it with pleasure.

It all depends on the floor it falls on. When I'm at my mothers house I'll eat things from the floor no matter how long the've been there

I think it depends more on who made it, and how and where it was made. I've had pizza from the same place that was undercooked one day, and overcooked the next. Actually, it was more overcooked because it was already made and was sitting out for god knows how long and put back in the oven.
